Philip Gary leaves Wa Power Sporting Club

Philip Gary, who, to many is one of the best in the Upper West Division II League for seasons now left the Duori based club, Wa Power Sporting Club after two seasons.

He has been an important figure in the last edition of the Upper West Regional Division II League and helped the ‘We Can’ family gained their first ever Division One League slot after losing it to their rivals, Maana Football Club in the 2021/2022 edition.

In 17 matches and 11 starts in the 2022/2023 season, Philip can boast of 12 goals contributions to His name in the League. He scored 7 goals and provided 5 assists which made him emerged as the ‘Best Playmaker’ in the league last season.

In the 2022/2023 Upper West Middle League final game between Wa Power Sporting Club and Busa Golden Football Club, Philip Gary provided an assist to his teammate Adamu Karim to opened the scoring which they won by 2:1.

The striker has not officially announced his next club, but a fan’s comment on Facebook, he said he will be join last season’s runner-up in the Upper West Regional Division II League, TF. Exponential Football Club.
