The 2023 edition which is the 8th one of the Sheikh Sharubutu Ramadan Cup was officially launched at Kempinski Hotel in Accra on Thursday, April 6, 2022.
This year’s competition will be competed by 30 bingo communities from across the country. The competition aims at bringing Zongo communities together.
The 30 teams will face each other in the preliminary round and the 15 winning teams will progress to the round of 16 and will be joined by the best loser of the Preliminary Round. Below are the fixtures of the preliminary round:

The two (2) day competition will be played on Saturday, April 29 and Sunday, April 30, 2023 on the Fadama Astroturf.
In attendance for the launching were Minister for Youth and Sports, Hon. Mustapha Ussif, General Secretary of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Prosper Harrison Addo, Head Coach of the Black Meteors, Ibrahim Tanko, member of parliament for Yendi, Farouk Aliu Mahama and many other stakeholders.
