COACH AZIZ KANDUMAH JOHN JOINS WA POWER SC AS THEIR HEAD COACH

Experienced Coach Aziz Kandumah John have signed to lead the We Can family into the 2022/2023 Upper West Regional Division Two League Season.

He is known in as the master of that division having qualifying Wa Suntaa SC six years ago and nearly got Wa United FC that slot. He also helped Wa Suntaa SC avoid relegation when they were dangling around the bottom of the previous seasons tables.

He is expected to lead the We Can family into the next season’s Division One League.

He wrote on his Facebook wall:

“ACCEPTANCE MASSAGE
I want to thank the Chief Executive Officer, the Technical Director and management of Wa Power Sporting for putting your trust in me and giving me this incredible opportunity. We have a shared vision and for us to be successful we must align our visions.
This day wouldn’t have been here without your commitment, passion and dedication to building this club to such an enviable level. My greatest motivation for accepting this job is anchored on the fact that there are quality players at the club. The greatest coaches around the globe have attained their glory by virtue of the quality of players at their disposal. A coach is as good as the players available for him to select from. I can’t wait to start working with the current players at the club as well as new players who shall be joining the club for the 2022/23 Upper West Division Two League and the 2022/23 MTN FA Cup. I look forward to welcome all of you to preseason.
I can’t wait to feel the joy and heat of the vociferous fans of this great club. We shall work to put smiles on your faces, but remember there will be tough times. It is in those tough times the players and technical team would need you to stay behind us. You have always been an amazing supporters’ group. I enjoyed your support during my short spell with the club in 2015, am very confident our reunion will be greater.
I have been privilege in my career to have so many unique opportunities that has uniquely prepared me for this exceptional opportunity. I want to thank the management of Wa United Fc and Wa Suntaa Sporting Club for the time we shared together.
I will build on the foundation that has already been laid by my predecessor Coach Saeed Adinan so that we achieve both the long and short-term ambitions of the club.
Once again, I appreciate the faith and confidence reposed in me by C E O, management and fans of this great club. I promise to repay this faith and confidence by being relentless in the persuit of our common goals.
Thank you.
