The Cameroonian and Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC striker keeps topping the various news headlines in Ghana and other parts of the world with his goal scoring ability.

The Cameroonian scored his seventeenth (17th) goal in the GPL this season in an away fixture against RTU in Tamale today, equalling Ghana’s Eric Bekoe’s 17 goal tally that won him the 2007/2008 GPL goal king award when he was playing for Kotoko.

With nine (9) games to end the season, the forward is five (5) goals away from breaking Ishmael Addo’s 22 goals in 2001 which is the 4th highest for a single Ghana Premier League season.

Frank Etouga Mbella Thierry started the season in match day six (6) and haven’t gone three (3) games without scoring a goal.
