This morning on Tungsung Sports with regular host, Dimbie Jamaldeen on Tungsung 97.3 FM, the chairman of the Upper West Juvenile Football, Abu Iddrisu Polibu, announced the commencement of the Upper West Juvenile U17 League.
Registrations and medicals have already taken place some few days back and all teams involved are getting ready and poised to kick start the second edition in this Kurt Okraku Administration.
This year’s league involved eight(8) teams. It will played in the form of all-play-all on one venue, Wa SHS Park. These teams are as follows:
1. Discipline Youth
2. Wa Football Club
3. Yaasin Football Club
4. Al-Munajid Sporting Club
5. Sky Football Club
6. North Star
7. Upland Stars
8. Power Sporting Club
The winner will represent the region at the National U17 League at the end of the regional leagues. It is said to start on April 24, 2022.
